Troop 633 is a very active and large group of scouts and scouters. We enjoy all kinds of camping and outdoor activities every month of the year, including high adventure and long term camping in the summer. We welcome new scouts of any age and at any time of the year. Ours is a youth led troop, with plenty of adult mentorship and participation by scouts of all ranks and ages.

We also have a very active Venture Crew attached to our Troop.

Big Horn, National Youth Leadership Training. Week I is our week next year and starts on 9 Jun 2013, Last year we filled 5 weeks to over flowing, and we will have less weeks in 2013 because of the National Jamboree. Sooo, plan ahead. Attention all Scouts who will have graduated from the 8th grade by the summer of 2013. Philmont is the ultimate National Council Boy Scout experience in the Sangra de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico. Our Troop has reserved space for two crews of 12 Scouts and leaders each. While at Philmont you will visit multiple backcountry camps with special activities like mountain climbing, shot gun shooting, black powder rifles, burro racing and pole climbing. Contact Mr. Hartig if you are interested.

The next National Jamboree will occur from 8 July to 24 July 2013 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in wild West Virginia. The Denver Area Council will send 8 troops and 4 Venture Crews. The sign up list is already active at https://summit.scouting.org/
